Absolutely… not! You’ll be working with our experienced Partners Amy and Taryn. Why? We intentionally haven’t built a large team. We’re boutique, which means we can be selective and stick to only working with the clients we know we can succeed with.

What’s your fee structure?

We charge ⅓ of the first year guaranteed income of executive leaders we help you hire.

What happens after the hire is made?

Too many recruiters give up on you once they’ve placed a candidate and collected their fee. But that’s not how we work. We get involved with these critical leadership hires, ensuring the newest addition to your team is engaged and connected all the way through the resignation process at their departing company, to your new leadership hire onboarding process, and beyond.

Do you also help with frontline sales rep hiring?

We don’t. We don’t work on volume, or on trying to handle as many searches as possible. By only working on executive leadership hiring, we stay focused on and true to what we’re best at.

What makes Avenue Talent Partners different from other recruiters?

Ever worked with headhunters and felt the “ick”—like they were friendly, but just wanted to rack up placement fees with as little work as possible? We find that as revolting as it is unfortunately common. Instead of blasting questionably qualified resumes your way for you to sort through, and waving goodbye once the hire is made, we’ve carved a different path. Avenue Talent Partners is boutique, not big; deeply connected, not transactional; and above all, we’ve built our success on word of mouth and a stellar reputation for placing top caliber executive leaders with great organizations. We will NEVER take that reputation for granted by treating you with a short term mentality. We joke that we're part consultant, part sales leader, part therapist, HR, the law, and executive search partner: fully embedded in your team, and committed to the task at hand.

So you won’t just spam tons of potential candidates for us?

No way. We’ve been on the receiving end of this, and it sucks. We wholeheartedly believe in knocking on doors, but doing so with genuine warmth and sincerity—not to mention plenty of research and a good reason why we’re reaching out. Nothing is more important than your brand, and when we partner with you, we act as a high quality extension of that brand.

What if we want to do this ourselves, but we need help doing it?

Understandable, and in some cases it’s the right way to go. We’ve developed a lighter weight yet no less amazing version of our service, fine tuned for coaching you to learn what we know, to help you create your own recruiting framework while letting you run the process yourselves. We call this offering ATP Studio . Think of this as “done with you, in your corner”, rather than “done for you 100%”.

How big is your network?

We’ve been around for decades and have a robust network, a private slack community, a database with thousands of people, a large social media following, and Amy is the only search firm executive with a LinkedIn Top Sales Voice designation. It’s hard to confirm alignment and requires more than a big network, database, or written content about how. There is a big difference between content, context, relevance, and competency. Excellent hiring embodies all four. It’s okay if you don’t know how, this is your first signal to choose differently. The power of a large network, a warm introduction, or access to people is worthless if it doesn't translate into true value for your business. It also means that these options can create more work, wasted time and sunk costs if not properly evaluated. If hiring has been a challenge in the past and there’s a lack of clarity to understand what good looks like, that easy button will quickly turn into a hard one.

How long does it take to make a hire?

Typical executive search takes 6+ months. Leaning into the ATP Method reduces it down to 4 months.
